Teachers in grades preK-8, here is your chance to be a writer. Discover your ideal creative process. Talk to writers and editors. Build a lifelong habit of writing.

Over the course of 10 weeks you’ll write and interact with other writers in a combination of in-person meetings and online activities. You’ll learn strategies to help you make writing a regular, ongoing practice, even as you transition to the demands of a hectic school year.

The workshop will kick off with a meeting on the Butler campus:

June 11, 10 am – 2 pm (lunch provided)

Together the group will determine a weekly meet-up schedule of varied locations, days, and times to best accommodate members’ needs. It is understood that participating writers may not be able to attend all meet-ups, but some interest in gathering as a group is required.
