How do you use student work to determine learning goals for whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction in your math workshop? Join Ryan and Courtney Flessner—and other experienced math educators from our community—to look closely at student work together.

With real student work as our guide, we'll practice identifying mathematical strengths and needs. What common themes do we see across samples of student work that can inform minilessons? What strategies can we teach to move students forward in their understanding and efficiency?

We'll also look at several resources that can support you in making decisions about what your students need.
