Digging Deeply Into Problem Solving: Infusing the Process Standards into Your Math Routine

Grade level: Kindergarten

This workshop builds on the classic Problem Solving workshop offered in past semesters and earlier this fall. Once you have knowledge of the 14 problem types and various strategies children use to solve these problems, you’re ready to dig deeply into daily implementation.

These workshops are divided into grade level bands so that teachers can focus attention on developmentally appropriate problems for their students. The workshop will attend to grade level content standards while infusing the process standards into daily minilessons, independent work, and reflection.
